Facilities Assessment & Strategic
Planning:
• Master Plan review and strategic planning
development.
• Facilities assessment and statement of condition.
• Develop priorities and recommendations based on the assessment
results.
Pre-Design Phase:
• Assist in site selection and due diligence
items such as Phase 1 EPA assessment.
• Assist with public relations efforts to seek project buy-in
and acceptance.
• Assist with preliminary budget and project schedule.
• Assist with the design team selection process.
• Assist with negotiating the design team contract.
Design Phase:
• Assist with management of design team responsibilities.
• Assist with state, city and county entitlement responsibilities.
• Assist in managing and presenting progress documents to
appropriate boards and committees.
• Assist with creating budget estimates and reviewing budget
estimates by others.
• Assist with design reviews and constructability reviews.
Bid Phase:
• Assist the Owner and design team in reviewing
the bid documents.
• Assist the Owner and design team with pre-bid conferences.
• Assist in the evaluating of bids for conformance to construction
documents.
Construction Phase:
• Assist with Notice of Award, contracts,
insurance, bonds, etc.
• Assist with Notice to Proceed and associated pre-construction
meetings.
• Assist with evaluating and recommending approval of the
schedule of values, monthly pay applications, and resolving
design and construction issues.
• Assist with evaluating changes
and negotiating associated costs.
• Assist with weekly progress meetings, meeting minutes and
documentation.
• Assist in managing Owner provided responsibilities, items
and vendors.
Post Construction Phase:
• Assist with Owner move-in efforts.
• Assist facilities staff with conducting systems training
and maintenance protocols.
• Assist with the 11-month warranty walk-through with the
architect and contractor. |
